Web3Forms is a contact-form API for static sites: a public access key in a hidden field, and submissions arrive by email. It suits small sites that want a free email form with a fairly generous monthly quota, and teams willing to pay for integrations, file uploads and autoresponders.

Is SilentForms really free?

Yes. Unlimited submissions, email delivery, webhooks, spam protection, CAPTCHA and the dashboard are all free, forever, for up to 25 forms per account. There are no paid plans and we never ask for a credit card. The only limits stop abuse: 10 submissions a minute from one IP address and 60 a minute per access key.

Can I keep my existing form when I switch from Web3Forms?

Yes. Replace api.web3forms.com/submit with the SilentForms endpoint and use your SilentForms key in the same access_key field; subject, from_name, replyto, redirect and botcheck keep working.

Do I need to change my field names?

No. SilentForms reads Web3Forms field names as they are, so the only changes are the form action and the key in access_key.

What does Web3Forms offer that SilentForms does not?

You need file uploads or an autoresponder: Web3Forms offers both on paid plans, SilentForms does not have them yet. You want hCaptcha without creating your own account: Web3Forms supplies a shared key on its free plan.
